The TV 68 Miniplate solution is made up of structures of various geometries, formed by corrugated steel sheets as thick as the project requirements. The structures can have a coating or black steel and are assembled using bolts and nuts both in the longitudinal and perimeter directions of the structure being assembled in an open trench directly in its final location.
Corrugated steel structures have demonstrated to be a highly competitive solution thanks to their significant advantages:
DURABILITY
The TV 68 Miniplate corrugated steel structures provide the useful life required for each specific project, so that there are coatings and special solutions for each need, among which the following stand out:
Galvanized: The TV 68 Miniplate corrugated steel structures have a hot-dip galvanized coating (according to the ASTM A-123 standard), which gives them high resistance to corrosion increasing their useful life.
Special Coatings: For applications in acidic environments, they can be coated with polymeric elements: Epoxy, polyester or reactive polymers (barrier-type coatings) by electrostatic deposition or by liquid painting and oven drying according to the specific requirements of the project.
Concrete Coating: For its use in extreme conditions due to corrosion or abrasion, shotcrete can ensure the useful life of structures in a practical and economical way.
USAGE
During several decades of underground works with hundreds of kilometers installed, successful projects have been carried out in various conditions of usage. The TV 68 Miniplate corrugated steel structures allow the construction of sewage networks, minor drainage works, and public services such as gas and electricity networks. During the last decade TV 68 Miniplate has become the best solution for road crossings and water channels, among other usages.
Advantage
The trench installation makes the assembly process quick and easy allowing assembly in more than one work front and allowing interaction with other support resources. The size of the plates allows them to be handled manually.
