The wood used by Tecnovial's mixed wood-metal certified system is to radiata pine produced in Chile whose mechanical characteristics are described in NCh 1198. They were also certified by technical report number 2014-07 of the University of Santiago de Chile. The wood impregnation system was carried out in accordance with the Chilean Standard NCh 819 for a R3 risk group.
